京都のろうけつ染め作家ち江すさんが一点一点丁寧に描き染めたブックカバー。文庫本サイズです。ブックカバーですが、玄関に飾ったり敷いたりするという方もいらっしゃいます。
サイズおよそ縦16cm よこ30cm
一つ一つ手作りの為少し個体差があります。
表生地絹100%(正絹) 内側木綿

ろうけつ染めとは、、
熱で溶かした蝋を筆にふきませ布に描きその上に染料で染めていきます。　

ち江すさんは、京都着物工房に弟子入り後、ろうけつ染めの着物製作に携わりその後独立され制作活動をされています。ろうけつ染めの着物や帯も制作されています。
